Our COVID-19 Response and Precautions

March 18th, 2020

Update on 10/26/21:  We are pleased to now offer in person family sessions, in addition to family workshop that is online each weekend. In addition two family members can visit each Sunday as long as they have been vaccinated, send vaccinations tovaccination@windmillwellnessranch.com. DAA meetings are also open to vaccinated alumni.

Update on 3/19/21: We've continued to see great success with our COVID protocol. We're continuing our daily wellness checks for all staff members, on-site covid testing before guests or new patients enter the property, hold virtual family programming every weekend, and are now pleased to announce over 70% of our staff has been vaccinated.

Windmill Wellness Ranch is dedicated to the health and safety of our clients, their families, visitors and employees. As a result of the COVID-19 Coronovirus, we are taking additional precautions over and above what we do on a daily basis. We have dedicated personnel staying abreast with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocol to implement and direct any new initiative that may occur.

This has been a difficult time for our nation. As a result, substance abuse and mental health issues have become a large concern. Many Insurance companies are now allowing their insureds (plan holders) to seek “Out-of-Network” care using their “In-Network” benefits. Please call us. We can help you and your loved one.

Our Medical Director and staff have worked hard to create a secure environment. We have COVID-19 and COVID-19 Antigen testing. Our staff have all signed a Code of Conduct that includes CDC guidelines for safety, and we require daily temperature checks before approving staff entry to our facility. All new patient admits are screened and tested for the COVID virus, and housed in a separate comfortable lodge until test results are complete (usually within 24 hours). While waiting for test results, new admits receive 24/7 medical care, treatment therapy and incredible cuisine.

As of March 17, 2020, there will be no visitors, Family Workshops or DAA meetings on premises. We will, however, offer virtual Family Workshop from 10am - Noon on Saturdays in lieu of having outside participation. Please watch our website for information regarding updates.

The safety of our clients, their families, visitors, and our employees is our priority. We understand our responsibility to our community in limiting the spread of COVID-19 and we will continue to take necessary steps to keep us all healthy.

Thank you for your support.
